Mary Ann Chew was the daughter of William Chew and Millicent Frankland.

Mary was born on Tuesday 17 September 1895 in Gisburn, Yorkshire.

Mary married Daniel Cundall on Saturday 17 February 1917 in the Parish Church, Bolton by Bowland, near Clitheroe, Lancashire.
The witnesses at the marriage were William Parker and Alice Chew (Mary Ann's sister).
Mary was 22 years old and Daniel was 28 years old when they married.

Mary died when she was 79 years old, on Monday 26 May 1975 in Raikeswood Hospital, Skipton, Yorkshire.   The cause of her death was Congestive heart failure and Cerebral thrombosis.   Joyce Brewer (her daughter) was the informant of her death.
