Daniel Cundall was the son of and Mary Ann Cundall.

Daniel was born on Sunday 30 December 1888 in Twiston, near Dowhnam, Clitheroe, Lancashire.

According to Isaac Cundall (his son, b.1924), Daniel's father was someone called Spence.

Daniel married Mary Ann Chew on Saturday 17 February 1917 in the Parish Church, Bolton by Bowland, Yorkshire.
The witnesses at the marriage were William Parker and Alice Chew (Mary Ann's sister).
Daniel was 28 years old and Mary was 22 years old when they married.

He had the following children from his marriage to Mary Ann Chew:

Daniel was a Farm Labourer.

Daniel died when he was 85 years old, on Wednesday 26 December 1973 in 24, Sharphaw View, Gargrave, Skipton.   The cause of his death was Coronary artery occlusion due to Atherosclerosis and Congestive cardiac failure due to Essential hypertension.   Joyce Brewer (his daughter) was the informant of his death.
