Millicent Frankland was the daughter of John Frankland and Margaret Slinger.

Millicent was born on Monday 25 November 1867 in Edge, Slaidburn, Yorkshire.

Millicent married William Chew on Saturday 9 February 1889 in the Parish Church, Grindleton, near Clitheroe, Yorkshire.
The witnesses at the marriage were Moses Frankland (Millicent's brother) and Elizabeth Chew (William's sister).
Millicent was 21 years old and William was 21 years old when they married.

Millicent died when she was 84 years old, on Sunday 2 March 1952 in Rose Cottage, Micklethwaite, Bingley, near Keighley, Yorkshire.   The cause of her death was Myocardial Degeneration and Senility.   Alice Chew (her daughter) was the informant of her death.

She was buried on Wednesday 5 March 1952 in Morton New Cemetery/Sandbeds Cemetery, Bradford Road, Keighley, Yorkshire.
