Thomas Chew was the son of Edward (Edvardus) Chew and Ellin (Helena) Chew.

Thomas was born in 1659 in Paythorne, Gisburn, Yorkshire on 11th February 1659.

He was christened at Gisburn, Yorkshire on 12th February 1660.

Thomas married Anne ?????? around 1683.

He had the following children from his marriage to Anne ??????:

- Ellena Chew	born around 1684 in Cowgill.
- Elizabetha Chew	born around 1686 in Campa Sawlensi.
- Thomas Chew	born around 1688 in Downham (Brieryfield Monastry of Sawley).

- Anna Chew	born around 1692 in Ellbeck.
- John (Johes) Chew	born around 1694 in Illbeck.
- William (Guliemus) Chew	born around 1700 in Gisburn, Yorkshire.

Details of Thomas's occupation are not known.

Thomas died in 1735.  

He was buried in Gisburn, Yorkshire on 11th November 1735.
