Alexander (Alex) Bleazard was the son of Arthur Bleazard and Clara Tattershall.

Alex was born on Wednesday 29 August 1900 in Hunters Oak, Ightenhill, Burnley, Lancashire.

Alex married Edna Partington on Thursday 3 January 1929.

He had the following children from his marriage to Edna Partington:

- David Bleazard	born on 1 July 1932 in Blackpool, Lancashire.
- Keith Bleazard	born in 1937 (date suppressed) in Blackpool, Lancashire.

Alex's second marriage was to Marion Butterfield on Saturday 27 January 1951.
