Priscilla Spittle was the daughter of William Spittle and Elizabeth Sharrad.

Priscilla was born around 1747.

She was christened on Wednesday 5 July 1747 at St Bartholomew's Church, Wednesbury, Staffordshire.

Priscilla married Edward Stokes on Sunday 16 May 1779 in St Bartholomew's Church, Wednesbury, Staffordshire.

She had the following children from her marriage to Edward Stokes:

- Aquila Stokes	born around 1782.
- Lettice Stokes	born around 1784.
- Aquila Stokes	born around 1786.
