Lettice Stokes was the daughter of Edward Stokes and Priscilla Spittle.

Lettice was born around 1784.

She was christened on Thursday 9 September 1784 at St Bartholomew's Church, Wednesbury, Staffordshire.

Lettice married William Hayes on Tuesday 24 August 1802 in St Peter's Church, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire.

She had the following children from her marriage to William Hayes:

- Edward Hayes	born around 1804.
- Penelope Stokes Hayes	born around 1805.
- Thomas Collins Hayes	born around 1806.
- Benjamin Stubbs Hayes	born around 1809.

Details of Lettice's death are not known.
