David married Mary Ann Rees on Wednesday 26 October 1870 in the Welsh Congregational Chapel, Park Road, Toxteth Park, near Liverpool, Lancashire.
The witnesses at the marriage were George Thomas, Margaret Ann Thomas and Mary Anne Stephens.
