on Monday 8 April 1844
in Poulton cum Seacombe, Wallasey, Cheshire.
The cause of his death was disease of the liver.
Walter Thomas (his son) was the informant of his death.
He was buried
on Thursday 11 April 1844
in St Hilary's Church, Claremount Road, Wallasey.
He was buried in section 29, grave 21, with a slate flatstone (see Notes 5 & 6).
His gravestone (see 'Pictures' link above) had the following inscription:

who died April 8th 1844
Aged 53 years
