Henry (Harry) Chew was the son of William Chew and Millicent Frankland.

Harry was born on Tuesday 15 March 1904 in Bolton by Bowland, Yorkshire.

Harry married Annie Moore on Wednesday 12 February 1930.

He had the following children from his marriage to Annie Moore:

- Roy Chew	born in 1932 at the Settle Registration District (Dec Qtr).
- Alec Chew	born in 1935 at the Burnley Registration District (Mar Qtr 1935).

Harry was a Dairy Farmer at Beck Farm, Micklethwaite.

Harry died when he was 84 years old, on Wednesday 10 December 1986.  

He was cremated at Nab Wood, Shipley.
