in the Parish Church, Gisburn, near Clitheroe, Lancashire.
The witnesses at the marriage were John Chew (Riley's brother) and Mary Ann Chew (Riley's sister).

Riley
was
a
Farm Labourer, and during WWI he was a Gunner in the Royal Garrison Artillery.
Riley died
when
he
was
28
years old,
on Saturday 14 July 1917
in Belgium.
He died in action during WWI.
He was buried
in
1917
in Dickebusch New Military Cemetery, Belgium.
