Jeffrey (Jeff) Sunderland was the son of David William Sunderland and Lilian Richardson.

Jeff was born on Wednesday 17 January 1923 in Rochdale, Lancashire.

Jeff married Margaret Moffat (Peggy) Bell on Saturday 5 January 1946 in Langholm, Dumfries.

He had the following children from his marriage to Margaret Moffat (Peggy) Bell:

- Hazel Mary Sunderland	born in 1947 at Littleborough.
- David Sunderland	born in 1950.
- Alan Sunderland	born in 1952.

Details of Jeff's occupation are not known.

Jeff died when he was about 71 years old, in 1994 in Cromford, Derbyshire.
