Medina Hopkinson was the daughter of John Hopkinson and Elizabeth Bonner.

Medina was born on Tuesday 11 February 1868 in 34, Handyside Street, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Medina married Walter Thomas on Friday 29 May 1896 in the Register Office, Solihull, Warwickshire.
The witnesses at the marriage were E.Thompson and Frank Glen Thompson.
Medina was 25 years old and Walter was 24 years old when they married.

She had the following children from her marriage to Walter Thomas:

Medina died when she was 76 years old, on Monday 30 September 1946 in County Hospital, Whiston, Widnes, Lancashire.   The cause of her death was Cerebral Haemorrhage.   W.C.Thomas (her son) was the informant of her death.

She was buried in 1946 in Widnes, Lancashire.
