Annie Chew was the daughter of George Chew and Elizabeth Ann Frankland.

Annie was born on Wednesday 21 October 1885 in Carters Lane Head, Paythorne, Gisburn, Yorkshire.

She was christened on Tuesday 22 December 1885 at Gisburn, Yorkshire.

Annie married Fred Naylor on Wednesday 31 August 1904 in Thornton in Craven, near Earby, Lancashire.

She had the following children from her marriage to Fred Naylor:

- George Henry Naylor	born in 1906.
- Sarah Naylor	born on 2 December 1906 in 7 Mill Brow.
- Walter Naylor	born on 5 April 1908 in Earby, Yorkshire.
