Frances was born on Friday 10 April 1868 in Towy Terrace, Llandilofawr, Carmarthenshire, Wales.

Frances married James Davies on Saturday 19 December 1885 in The Register Office, Llanelly, Carmarthenshire, Wales.
The witnesses at the marriage were William Davies and Mary Ann Davies.
Frances was 17 years old and James was 20 years old when they married.
