Thomas Barrie Lavender was the son of Thomas Walter (Tom) Lavender and Gertrude May Wilson.

Barrie was born on Wednesday 8 October 1924.

Barrie married Millicent Mary Wesson on Saturday 19 September 1953.

He had the following children from his marriage to Millicent Mary Wesson:

- Jeremy Noel Lavender	born in 1959 (date suppressed).
- Alison Ruth Lavender	born in 1960 (date suppressed).
- Fiona Kate Lavender	born in 1963 (date suppressed).

Details of Barrie's occupation are not known.

Barrie died when he was 40 years old, on Friday 6 August 1965.
