Eveline Emmie Heywood was the daughter of Thomas Heywood and Bertha Wood Holt.

Eveline was born on Monday 9 October 1916 in Gomersal, Yorkshire.

Eveline married Roy Clegg in 1941 in the Spen Valley Registration District (Mar Quarter).

She had the following children from her marriage to Roy Clegg:

- Michael Andrew Clegg	born in 1942 (date suppressed) in Leeds, Yorkshire.
- David Edward Clegg	born in 1947 (date suppressed) in 12 Queens Street, Gomersal, Yorkshire.

Eveline was a Milliner and Clerk.

Eveline died when she was about 84 years old, on Sunday 8 October 2000 in Birkenshaw.
