Richard Slinger was the son of William Slinger and Elizabeth Taylor.

Richard was born around 1776 in Greenfold, Slaidburn, Yorkshire.

He was christened on Sunday 18 February 1776 at St Andrew's Church, Slaidburn, Yorkshire.

Details of Richard's occupation are not known.

Richard died when he was 21 years old, in 1797 in Greenfold, Slaidburn, Yorkshire.  

He was buried on Tuesday 7 February 1797 in St Andrew's Church, Slaidburn.
