Iris Doris Standley was the daughter of Arthur Allen and Elizabeth Standley.

Iris was born on Tuesday 7 April 1914.

Sadly, Irene was adopted at birth and used the surname of Blyth from the midwife, Eliza Blyth (nee McReynolds), who delivered her and adopted her.   Irene always went by the name Blyth and only ever used Standley on official documents where her maiden name was required.   On her marriage certificate her name was written as Iris Doris Standley otherwise Blyth.

Iris married Thomas Robinson

Details of Iris's marriage are not known.

Iris died when she was 71 years old, on Friday 28 March 1986.
