Annie Thornton was born on Tuesday 27 March 1906.

Annie married Harry Whistance in 1932.

She had the following children from her marriage to Harry Whistance:

- Barbara Freda Whistance	born in 1936.
- Francis William (Frank) Whistance	born in 1943.

Annie died when she was 93 years old, in 1999 in Sandwell.
