Harry Whistance was the son of Richard William Michael Whistance and Caroline Smith Potter.

Harry was born in 1903.

Harry married Annie Thornton in 1932.

He had the following children from his marriage to Annie Thornton:

- Barbara Freda Whistance	born in 1936.
- Francis William (Frank) Whistance	born in 1943.

Harry was a Machine Tool Fitter.

Harry died when he was about 75 years old, in 1978.
