Josias Bleazard was the son of Richard Bleazard and Isabel Green.

Josias was born around 1816 in Bolton by Bowland, Yorkshire.

He was christened on Sunday 11 August 1816.

Josias married Ellen Holgate in 1860 in the Clitheroe Registration District, Lancashire.
