Emma Elizabeth Bolton was the daughter of Charles Bolton and Susanna Foster.

Emma was born on Tuesday 14 January 1868 in Laverton, Kirkby Malzeard, near Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Emma married James Cundall in 1890 in the Ripon Registration District.

She had the following children from her marriage to James Cundall:

Emma died when she was 79 years old, on Tuesday 4 March 1947 in Mossie Mire, Kirkby Malzeard, near Ripon, North Yorkshire.  

She was buried in 1947 in St Andrews Church, Kirkby Malzeard, near Ripon, North Yorkshire (Plot 56 in the Cemetery).

Her gravestone has the following inscription:

In loving memory of Fred, third son of James and Emma Cundall of Warren Lane,
died 19 January 1930 age 26.
The above James Cundall, died 22 July 1946 age 85.
The above Emma Elizabeth, died 4 March 1947 age 79.
In loving memory of Annie S Cundall, their eldest daughter, died 19th January 1954 age 61.
