Edwin Russell Chew was the son of Alexander McBain (Alec) Chew and Edith Slater.

Edwin was born on Friday 17 July 1925 in Moorlands Maternity Home, Haslingden, Lancashire.

Edwin was a Film Developer in Technicolor, West London.

Edwin died when he was about 76 years old, in 2001 in Northwood, Middlesex.  

He spent a number of years in the Navy.
