Vera Kathleen Spittle is the daughter of George Thomas Spittle and Gertrude Mary Jones.

Vera was born on Saturday 12 March 1904.

She was christened on Monday 4 April 1904 at St Bartholomew's Church, Wednesbury, Staffordshire.
