Margaret Watson was the daughter of John Watson and Mary Jane (Polly) King.

Margaret was born on Monday 19 October 1885 in Dallowgill, Kirkby Malzeard, Yorkshire.

Margaret married John Thomas Watson on Wednesday 25 June 1913 in the Ripon Registration District.

She had the following children from her marriage to John Thomas Watson:

- Mary Alice Watson	born on 16 June 1917 in Smaden Head, Eavestone, Yorkshire.
- Clara Margaret Watson	born on 1 June 1919 in Smaden Head, Eavestone, Yorkshire.
