Annie Elizabeth Ambrose was the daughter of James Ambrose and Margaret Webster.

Annie was born on Monday 7 June 1858 in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.

Annie married John Thomas on Monday 15 June 1885 in the Parish Church, Huyton, Prescot, near St Helens, Liverpool, Lancashire.
The witnesses at the marriage were Joseph Ambrose (Annie's brother), Sarah Ann Mayor (Annie's niece) and Margaret Elizabeth Mayor (Annie's niece).
Annie was 27 years old and John was 25 years old when they married.

She was buried in 1934 in St Peters Church, Harborne, Birmingham.
