Thelma Mildred Chapman was born on Thursday 26 October 1916.

Thelma married Horace Hayhurst in 1939 in the Clitheroe Registration District (Sep quarter).

She had the following children from her marriage to Horace Hayhurst:

- Angela M. Hayhurst	born in 1947 at the Clitheroe Registration District (Jun. quarter).
- Gillian T. Hayhurst	born in 1954 at the Clitheroe Registration District (Jun. quarter).

Thelma died when she was 76 years old, on Saturday 24 April 1993 in 22 Pimlico Road, Clitheroe, Lancashire.
