He

His gravestone has the following inscription:

Died October the 3rd 1819
Aged 95 Years
Also Mary wife of the
Above Leonard Burrill
Died the 21st of January 1823
Aged 85 years
Extract of the Will for LEONARD BURRILL of Swetton
Will written 5 Oct 1805, proved 8 Aug 1808
To wife Mary all household goods and furniture, also 1 milk cow to be kept winter and summer at the expense of my exec, plus the dwelling house for her lifetime then to my exec and a yearly rent of £12
To daughter Elizabeth Burrill the sum of £300 and a further £200 after the death of my wife
Son Peter Burrill the sum of £20, all the horses I possess
Son John my messuages, lands tenements etc at Swetton, als Vicar Pasture or elsewhere with the wood called Rye Close, excepting the dwelling house during my wifes lifetime
all residue to John
