Eric Frankland was the son of Joseph (Joe) Frankland and Mynetta (Netta) Smith.

Eric was born on Tuesday 10 September 1935 in The Burnley Registration District (Sep qtr).

Eric married Mary Frances Fay on Saturday 14 July 1956 in the Porstmouth Register Office.

They were divorced on 23/10/1963.

He had the following children from his marriage to Mary Frances Fay:

- John E. Frankland	born in 1958 at The Burnley Registration District (Mar qtr).
- Julie A. Frankland	born in 1959 at The Burnley Registration District (Mar qtr).

Eric's second marriage was to Patricia Isabella Russell in 1964 in June in the Birmingham Registration District (Jun qtr).

He had the following children from his marriage to Patricia Isabella Russell:

- Mark Joseph Frankland	born in 1965.
- Paul Eric Frankland	born in 1967 (date suppressed).
- Simon Matthew (Franky) Frankland	born in 1982.

Details of Eric's occupation are not known.

Eric died when he was 76 years old, on Thursday 31 May 2012 in Boston Hospital, Lincolnshire.
