Ambrose Slinger Frankland was the son of John Frankland and Margaret Slinger.

Ambrose was born on Saturday 26 August 1876 in Edge, Slaidburn, Yorkshire.

Ambrose died when he was about 2 years old, on Thursday 18 April 1878.  

He was buried on Monday 22 April 1878 in Slaidburn Parish Church, Yorkshire.
