Richard Greenhough was the son of Thomas Greenhough and Elizabeth Cross.

Richard was born around 1795.

He was christened on Sunday 16 August 1795 at Kings Bromley, Staffordshire.

Richard married Sarah Randall on Sunday 9 September 1832 in Aston, Staffordshire.

He had the following children from his marriage to Sarah Randall:
