Dear Brother
I now take the plesher of writing these fue lines to you in answer to your kind and welcome letter which I was plesed to receve and and was glad to hear you whear bothe quite well also to hear that Mr & Mrs Smith and that you found them alright in the land of the leveing. I have left Bob Hartley's house as he wanted hour house for Deck to leve in. We are leving in a house close to Bob Hartley's now. Lenseey is very porley he as been in the Infermery three weeaks he is no better. I expect I shall be taying hear for another seson.

We have onley part of a hous it is lettle Farm of ten acres thease two old mades that have it it belongs to Starke. Mr Fox is trying to take it for me as they are thinking of leving in the Spring. I tould him how I was situated he sade I could have it in his name The Brother diead last May he ust to be Carl Starke Woodman they want to get it for the sake of having the house to come to in the Summer. I was in Blackburn last night and saw Sarah Ann and the cheldrn they whear all quite well she sade she had roat to you. I should liked to come out to you if you happen to make up your mind to stop

and settle I should be afraid to start with Fanny as the jurney whould be to much for her as you know she is not very strong . Dear Brother I hope you will think things well over befor make up your mind to take your Famley out wether thear is a prospect for them as well a yourslf so thefor I hope you will not make up your mind hurrey and then be sorrey for it. If you stop a fue more monthes and the wether get warmer you will be better able to see what the Contrey is like. The Foal is doing very well I think the old mare is missing as she looks very ill. She is not hard worked I Mr Fox takes their place for me. I shall want you to let me have my little bet of monney in the Spring.

Mr W.Coddington is got maed Barenet so is Ser Willam. Dr Ross put me in the Countey Cart and they nocked me down 4s per month. I offred him a sovring to settle it befor the time he whould not take it so I thought I whould let him wate a wile for it. We having sum ruffe wether hear at present and I think thing is much the same. I think nothing thing in stock line is seling very well onley Calving Cows and good Horses. I hear theare was a good Fare at Preston for hevey Horses. So now I conclude and Fanny joines me in kind love to you Boathe also Mr Mrs Smith hoping your all quite well which it us at present.
