Isabella Stevens was the daughter of John Stevens and Sarah Shorthouse.

Isabella was born on Saturday 5 December 1840 in Church Hill, Wednesbury, Staffordshire.

She was christened on Sunday 27 December 1840 at St Bartholomew's Church, Wednesbury, Staffordshire.

Isabella married James Scott on Monday 19 March 1860 in St Peter and St Paul Church, Aston, Birmingham.

She had the following children from her marriage to James Scott:
