Margaret Isabel Smalley was born on Tuesday 1 April 1913.

Margaret married Allan Hayhurst in 1939 in the Settle Registration District (Jun quarter).

She had the following children from her marriage to Allan Hayhurst:

- Patricia M. Hayhurst	born in 1944 at the Burnley Registration District (Jun. quarter).
- Jean A. Hayhurst	born in 1948 at the Clitheroe Registration District (Jun. quarter).

Margaret was a Felt Mill Worker.

Margaret died when she was 45 years old, on Monday 5 January 1959.  

She was buried in 1959 in Grindleton Methodist Cemetery.
