George Chandler was born around 1888.

George married Dora Burrill in 1919 in the Ripon Registration District (Jun Qtr).

He had the following children from his marriage to Dora Burrill:

- Leonard George Chandler	born on 1 April 1922 at the Ripon Registration District.
- Dora Chandler	born on 4 March 1924 at the Ripon Registration District.
- John W. Chandler	born in 1926 (date suppressed) at the Ripon Registration District.
- James Chandler	born in 1928 at the Ripon Registration District (Dec quarter).

Details of George's occupation are not known.

George died when he was 49 years old, on Saturday 24 April 1937.
