Kathleen (Dolly) Chew is the daughter of John Chew and Mary Jane Simpson Pye.

Dolly was born on Monday 25 January 1915 in Carters Farm, Paythorne, Gisburn, Lancashire.

She was christened at Grindleton, Lancashire.

Dolly married Alfred Wright on Sunday 26 July 1936 in Mitton, Lancashire.

She had the following children from her marriage to Alfred Wright:
