Henry Spittle was the son of Jabez Spittle and Ann Kendrick.

Henry was born around 1829.

He was christened on Sunday 23 August 1829 at St Bartholomew's Church, Wednesbury, Staffordshire.

Henry married Isaline Louise Schweingruber on Sunday 26 July 1857 in St Bartholomew's Church, Wednesbury, Staffordshire.

He had the following children from his marriage to Isaline Louise Schweingruber:

- Henry Spittle	born around 1859 in Wednesbury, Staffordshire.
- Jabez Spittle	born around 1862 in Wednesbury, Staffordshire.

Henry was a Gun Lock Smith.
