Sophia Alice Clifton was born on Friday 17 December 1880 in Markyate, Hertfordshire.

Sophia married William Wing in 1903 in the Luton Registration District (Sep Qtr).

She had the following children from her marriage to William Wing:

- Elsie Mabel Wing	born on 18 March 1905 at Luton, Bedfordshire.
- Percival William Wing	born on 27 October 1906 at Luton, Bedfordshire.

Sophia died on Tuesday 1 June 1982 in 38 Leon Avenue, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
