Frederick James Waterloo Wing was the son of Matthew John Wing and Emily Basset Hall.

Frederick was born in 1867 in Wirksworth, Derby.

He was christened on Sunday 21 July 1867 at Wirksworth, Derby.

Frederick married Annie Tait in 1887 in the Islington Registration District.

He had the following children from his marriage to Annie Tait:
