Thomas Barker King was the son of Reuben King and Elizabeth Broadley.

Thomas was born on Saturday 14 July 1877 in Swetton, Kirkby Malzeard, near Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Thomas married Ethel Alice Ingleby in 1904 in the Skipton Registration District (Mar. quarter).

He had the following children from his marriage to Ethel Alice Ingleby:

Thomas's second marriage was to Mary Metcalfe in 1915 in the Ripon Registration District (Dec. quarter).

Thomas was a Farmer.

Thomas died when he was 77 years old, on Monday 11 July 1955 in West View, Whitcliffe Lane, Ripon, Yorkshire.
