Sarah Jane Watkins was the daughter of Matthew Watkins and Emma Cole.

Sarah was born on Thursday 17 November 1836 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

She was christened on Tuesday 6 December 1836 at St Chad's Church, Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

Sarah married Robert Thomas Kerry in 1859 in the Shrewsbury Registration District, Shropshire (Sep Qtr).

She had the following children from her marriage to Robert Thomas Kerry:
