Mary Chew was the daughter of Thomas Riley Chew and Alice Thornber.

Mary was born on Tuesday 23 August 1870 in Spring Heads, Bolton by Bowland, near Clitheroe, Lancashire.

She was christened on Sunday 6 November 1870 at Tewit Hall, near Gisburn, Yorkshire.

Mary died on Sunday 26 March 1871 in Spring Heads, Bolton by Bowland, near Clitheroe, Lancashire.   The cause of her death was Teething for 4 weeks.   Thomas Chew was the informant of her death.

She was 7 months old when she died.

She was buried on Wednesday 29 March 1871 in St Marys Church, Gisburn, Yorkshire.
