James Greenhough was the son of Abraham Greenhough and Eleanor (Ellen) Mills.

James was born in 1872 in Pelsall, Staffordshire.

James married Louisa Foster on Monday 1 July 1895 in The Register Office, Walsall, Staffordshire.
The witnesses at the marriage were William Whitbrook and Sarah Whitbrook.
