Joseph (Joe) Frankland was the son of Joseph (Joe) Frankland and Grace Blain.

Joe was born on Monday 16 October 1916 in the Burnley Registration District (Dec qtr).

Joe married Celia Blacker in 1950 in New Zealand.

He had the following children from his marriage to Celia Blacker:

- David Frankland	born in 1951 at New Zealand.
- Linda Frankland	born in 1954 at Leicester.

Joe was a Carpenter.

Joe died on Monday 16 February 1998.  

He was buried in 1998 in Bunbury Cemetery, Bunbury City, Western Australia.
