Arthur Wing was the son of James Wing and Mary Evans.

Arthur was born on Wednesday 4 June 1879 in Aldenham, Radlett, Hertfordshire.

Arthur married Priscilla Mary Timson in 1903 in the Watford Registration District (Jun Qtr).

He had the following children from his marriage to Priscilla Mary Timson:

- Lilian Olive Wing	born on 25 March 1904 in Radlett, Hertfordshire.
- Reginald Arthur Wing	born on 10 June 1906 in Radlett, Hertfordshire.
