Margaret Mary Green was the daughter of Peter Green and Helen Jackson.

Margaret was born on Monday 29 July 1895 in St Helens, Lancashire.

Margaret married Thomas Traverse in 1921 in the Prescot Registration District (Jun Qtr).

She had the following children from her marriage to Thomas Traverse:

- Anthony J. Traverse	born in 1923 at the Prescot Registration District (Sep Qtr).
- Margaret M. Traverse	born in 1924 (date suppressed) at the Prescot Registration District (Dec Qtr).
