Abraham Chew was the son of James Chew and Ann Fothergill.

Abraham was born around 1748.

He was christened at 13th September 1748.

Abraham married Jane Parker on Sunday 22 October 1769 in Slaidburn, Lancashire.

He had the following children from his marriage to Jane Parker:

- Alice Chew	born on 22 January 1799.

Abraham was a Surgeon.

Abraham died when he was 52 years old, on Sunday 12 October 1800 in Langho, Lancashire.
