Robert William Myers was the son of Demain Myers and Sarah Jane Cundall.

Robert was born on Tuesday 12 December 1876 in Belforth, Laverton, Kirkby Malzeard, near Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Robert married Emma Chandler in 1905 in the Ripon Registration District (Jun. quarter).
