Edna Ruth Partridge was the daughter of David Partridge and Ruth Bowen.

Edna was born on Wednesday 9 July 1919 in Wednesbury, Staffordshire.

She was christened on Sunday 3 August 1919 at St John's Church, Wednesbury, Staffordshire.

Edna married Jack Latham Deasey on Saturday 30 December 1944.

She had the following children from her marriage to Jack Latham Deasey:

- David Jonathan Deasey	born in 1949 (date suppressed) at Corowa, New South Wales, Australia.
- Ruth Annette Deasey	born in 1952 (date suppressed) at Portland, New South Wales, Australia.

Edna died when she was 92 years old, on Tuesday 26 June 2012 in Menaville Nursing Home, Rockdale, New South Wales.
